Actually, there's more to it than that.
I thought I had made contact with one of the original editors of the magazine, but the person who responded to me may or may not have been who they said they were.
This is the internet afterall.

I almost get teary eyed thinking back to the days when I waited for the new Super-8 Filmmaker magazine to arrive. It was like mana from heaven. I guess in a sense, the Super-8 sites on the Internet are the new Super-8 Magazine.

Yeah, you can get more info and faster on the 'net, but you know... you just can't leave the internet on the back of the toilet.

About three or so years ago I stumbled across my box of Super-8 Filmmakers. Probably two or three years worth. I was going to donate them to a filmmaking group, but held onto them. Now I have no clue where they are. They just up and disappeared. Ok, which one of you guys broken into my parent's house and took em'.

There's a difference between what came out in the pages of Super 8 Filmaker and what I've found on the net. There's some lost technology out there that a whole generation missed and deserves to be revived.Special effects via half silvered mirrors for example,I've yet to see anyone post any experience regarding that.I think I still have the issue of S8 FM that has instructions on how to build a Schufftan box and how to install a 1 F switch in a projector for sync sound as well as for syncing a projector shutter to a camera's.
